CHAMPAGNE COMTE DE LANTAGE
PREMIER CRU BLANC DE BLANCS Millésimé
1995

Year of harvest: 1995
Year of bottling: 1996

Alcohol content:
12 % by vol.

Composition:
100 % Chardonnay Côte des Blancs

Visual appearance:
The abundant froth of fine bubbles created during pouring settles into a thin, long-lasting ring.
The wine is an attractive pale gold in colour, with tints of green. It is limpid and brilliant.

Aroma:
The first impression is of a fine maturity with buttery notes. It is full-bodied, rounded and rich, with notes of roasted coffee and spices.
On further contact with air, it first develops fragrances of fresh vanilla and breakfast pastries, these giving way to a floral register of hawthorn and acacia.

Taste:
Highly expressive, it is the natural continuation of the nose. The wine is ripe and rounded, with a pleasant mix of fruit and maturity. It is well-structured, with richness and freshness nicely balanced.
The dosage is fully blended in and exceptionally mellow. The finish is fresh and balanced, with lemony flavours.

Overall comment:
A fine aperitif champagne that is already ripe for drinking. Its predicted maturation in bottle promises strong emotions in the future.
